چکیده
Abstract In this article, the problems studied are to optimize life of network sensors covering mobile targets by minimizing energy consumption network. Indeed, wireless sensor networks have received particular attention in recent years, as their applications common today, such vehicle tracking or battlefield monitoring. a network, battery plays an important role. The function depends on life. Replacement batteries becomes impossible once deployed remote unattended location. A set randomly placed monitors moving area. Each has limited lifetime and two states: Active Inactive. An active can monitor its monitoring sub-area at necessary cost. To model these problems, we use mathematical based linear programming with mixed integer variables. AMPL is used formulate MINOS for resolution numerical results allowed obtain adequate activation scheduling improving lifetime.

متن کاملExtending Network Lifetime of Wireless Sensor Networks
One critical issue in designing and managing a wireless sensor network is how to save the energy consumption of the sensors in order to maximize network lifetime under the constraint of full coverage of the monitored targets. In this paper, we adopt the common approach of creating disjoint sensor covers to prolong network lifetime. The typical goal used in the literature is to maximize the numb...
متن کاملLifetime maximization in wireless directional sensor network
This paper addresses two versions of a lifetime maximization problem for target coverage with wireless directional sensor networks. The sensors used in these networks have a maximum sensing range and a limited sensing angle. In the first problem version, predefined sensing directions are assumed to be given, whereas sensing directions can be freely devised in the second problem version. In that...
